You could have cut the tension with a feather... The first Eurovision semi-finals aired live from Moscow tonight, with 10 of 25 performers moving forward. Would Tinatin's Icelandic entry, sung by Yohanna, be among the victors?Ayhan and I watched the results live online... Turkey is announced first! Good for Ayhan... yeah, yeah... Sweden, Israel, Portugal, Malta... god, this is worse than "American Idol" (though, thankfully without commercials)...
Finland, Bosnia/Herzegovina... eek... what if this is the end? Romania... Uh oh... Armenia... my god, look at those hideous whores... and...ICELAND! THe last announced. Exhale! Talk about a photo finish. Congratulations to Tinatin and Chris Neil (pictured above) for moving your beautiful entry through the next level. Phew!
