Pamela Whamela Does NYC
I worked with Pamela Whamela Seaton yon back in the late 1980s at Radio World and we have never lost touch (she has fine, fine taste in music as a fellow Celine Dion aficionado). She still lives in D.C., but came up for the weekend with her team of fun, fab fruit flies. NYC at last delivered another run of dry, warm weather, so I met the quartet on the Brooklyn Bridge Saturday afternoon. After walking across, we ventured to Fulton's Landing...Sunset approaches... with just the slightest bit of photo editing...Pam and the boyz in DUMBO's Brooklyn Bridge Park.Manhattan Bridge...Never seen as many folks gathered in the park—including more than a half-dozen photogs waiting for sunset. And on Sunday, brunch at Elmo in Chelsea, with Ayhan joining. As we walked around the city, quite a unique scene. The street was closed as a wrecking crew ripped the facade off a residential building along 14th Street, revealing the still-intact living spaces behind. Regal portico at 6th Avenue and 19th Street.
