The fabulously camp BBC series "Beautiful People" at last begins its second season on U.S. network Logo. Based on the life of Barney's creative director Simon Doonan, it launched in America last year.
Despite some tough-to-crack Brit accents and decidedly across-the-Atlantic jokes, its inclusion of great songs from the 80s meshed with current Brit pop; a naughty demeanor; and the mindset that gay is just gay blow away most anesthetized U.S. sitcoms. A laugh a minute.
