Along Montague Street here in Brooklyn Heights, there are no fewer
than four manicure outlets... thanks to the latest, a burned-out laundromat cum Iris Nail opening in December—directly beside Dashing Diva, another polish and paint joint. This is all within a two-block radius, mind you.The overwhelming presence of eight banks and eight realtors in the nabe is bad enough. Could someone serve the whole neighborhood with... say, a second liquor store?! Now we're talking.
