Boy oh boy, Saturday was a wicked weather day, with persistent rain, winds reaching 45 mph and temps dipping into the 50s, with wind chill that felt like the upper 30s. Mind you, that's nothing compared to the devastation that swept through Oklahoma, then through the South, claiming 35 lives. Tornadoes? WTF?
Thankfully, today—in typical NYC spring fashion—was lovely. One day of evil, a tease a warmth, back and forth until June... Walking around the city Sunday, as always, I found endless evidence at how the city laughs and laughs at those who think umbrellas will actually shield them from the rain. The elements always win, no matter how powerful mankind believes it is.
