The niece of Rev. Martin Luther King, Dr. Alveda King, among the speakers at the National Organization for Marriage's 23-city anti-gay summer roadshow, said today in Atlanta: "Allowing gay couples to marry amounts to genocide and will lead to the extinction of the human race."
The rally was attended by a scant 35 people—including NOM's speakers, performers, volunteers and the media, while across the street, close to 300 gathered with signs supporting marriage equality for gay couples.Sadly, it appears intelligence did not filter down through the Rev. King's gene pool. Ironically, prejudice did.
