shared a chapter from the book we've been working on for the past eight months, followed by three songs performed live, with the renowned Jeff Franzell accompanying on piano. Afterward, we took questions from the audience. Damn fine time. After all of my teaching/training with the Census Bureau, I'm starting to get used to this onstage time... again. A reminder of my long-ago audacious days on the Forensic public speaking team in high school and college. A lost art, indeed.
