"Nip/Tuck" has proved to be a real downer in season six... wheelchairs, cancer, lesbians suddenly gone straight (zzzz) and a continued setting in L.A. that doesn't hold a candle to the glamour of Miami.
So now my sites are set on the second season of "The
Real Housewives of New York," which returns to Bravo Feb. 17. I've had the pleasure of meeting the Countess at a New York charity event with Sylvia Tosun and Val Crane; and Ramona and her daughter at the opening of the movie "Mamma Mia!" Both experiences were beyond kitsch.
These gals are the real deal... or as real as reality TV gets, which is a lot more fun than scripted television anymore. Who knew that would ever be the case.
