Every year, November 21 is World Hello Day. The objective is to say hello to 10 people on the day. By greeting others, the message is for world leaders to use communication rather than force to settle conflicts. I guess, "Bite me" wouldn't work, then...This event began in 1973 and is observed by people in 180 countries. It has garnered accolades from politicians, religious leaders and celebrities—and others craving undue attention—while normal people like you and me probably find it as asinine as it sounds. All the same... "Hello." There, can I go now?
