Duane Reade On Every Corner—& Then Some
Okay, it's one thing that local drugstore Duane Reade is trying to muscle out CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens with a store on nearly every block—like the Starbucks of Manhattan—and more power to them (though CVS has better prices)... but Sunday, for the first time, I actually saw a Duane Reade beside a Duane Reade. Only one of them, mind you, is open 24 hours!?
