Walking Tour: Red Hook, Brooklyn
Census door-to-door operation on Friday led me on foot through the fringes of Red Hook, Brooklyn, a few nabes over from home in Brooklyn Heights. Love the persisting local flavor of the area, albeit cut off from subway access and thus overt gentrification.
