Celine Dion To Perform On Oscars Sunday

Celine Dion will make her sixth appearance on the Academy Awards during this Sunday's telecast, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. on ABC. That is more performances than any other artist in the 83-year history of the Oscars!

Oscars producer Don Mischer personally invited Celine to sing as part of the tribute to celebrities who have died over the past year. She will perform Charlie Chaplin's "Smile."Awards, of course, are nothing new for Celine. Over the past 30 years, she has collected five Grammy Awards, 12 World Music Awards, seven American Music Awards, 21 Juno Awards, 39 Felix Awards—and Academy Awards for both "My Heart Will Go On" and "Beauty and the Beast." She was also nominated for "The Prayer" and "Because You Love Me."
