As we gear up for the Summer Olympic games in London, beginning 
, July 25, we continue to show just how much we've come to love sports. Here's 27-year-old Scottish rugby player Thom Evans, who retired from professional sports following a neck injury.He continues, however, to be popular overseas, and dons the August 2012 cover of Brit mag Attitude. The curious cover title reads: “Thom Evan is not in the Olympics, but he is in his pants. The total package.”

Evans was among the models at the April 2011 Dressed To Kilt in NYC, which I covered for Country Weekly. Of course, at the time, I had no earthly idea who the hell he was... other than a hot guy. *
