Our 2011 Smoking Nun Sexiest Man Alive Rodiney Santiago tries to squeeze a little more fame from his The A List reality show on Logo, with the release of his 2013 hunky calendar. This year, the release party was in San Diego... I think I understand why he chose not to have it in NYC last week. Rod, meanwhile, has a popular line of sexy clothing for Rufskin and t-shirts for American Apparel. *

Ruff, Ruff! Rodiney Santiago Releases RUF•ROD Bodywear Line

Ruff, indeed! Rodiney Santiago has released his own line of swimear, RUF•ROD, aligned with Rufskin (shoot locale: his homeland of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), branded as Sungas. The line includes solid color blocks, mesh and patterns with a color palette allegedly hand selected by Santiago and Rufskin designer Hubert Pouches. Rod notes, "I was heavily involved with the fit of this line to ensure its Brazilian authenticity." The suits are named after cities from the Atlantic coast of Brazil: Angra, Lagoa and Busios. The RUF•ROD line will be available this summer.

Good thing Rodiney is moving forward with signature merch, since Logo has put The A List: New York out of its misery after two bitchy seasons. The show's Rod & Ryan Nickulas will be participating @ the Time Warner Cable car for this Sunday's NYC Pride March. Ooh la la! *

Checking In With Rodiney Santiago

It's been more than a month since we've heard hide nor hair from Rodiney Santiago as he has busied himself with VH1's Couples Therapy, a trainwreck of a show that really shouldn't be anybody's business. Even he admits on his Facebook page that the show was a dud.

Meanwhile, the Logo network has made the brilliant decision that it's no longer "the queer network," since it never invested enough in original programming—so a third season of The A List: New York, looks pretty doubtful at this point.

It looks like Rod is spending the month in May, back in South Beach, Miami. Let's hope he soon delivers something tingly and new sometime soon. You hear me, buddy? *
