Poor Rodiney Santiago. On Logo's "The A-List: New York," he's always looking wounded by boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl, is persistently rejected trying to make good on a NY modeling career and... well... with the Brazilian's broken English, bless his heart, he often comes across as a little dim.
But Rodiney also seems awfully sweet—and more so, his ambitions aren't the only thing that appear to be big, if you see what I'm saying. And the gays have
certainly taken notice. He just completed a photo shoot for 2xist undies, and is hawking a 2011 calendar and DVD, has his own webbie, and is setting the internet on fire via Facebook and Twitter. Hurrah for gay!Best yet, he's appearing in the flesh at Boxer's queer bar in Chelsea Monday/15th. I might just have to show up to catch a glimpse of this dreamy man meeself.
Ok! So I am tired of hearing how Rodiney comes across as "dim" on the A-List. He was smart enough to figure out that Reichen has trouble keeping it in his pants. (Okay, so that doesn't take a lot of wits.) But to attack his intelligence based on his broken English? Give me a break. Who on the show speaks fluent Portuguese? So even though his English is broken, does that make him "dim?" Hardly! It just shows he is attempting to learn a new language!
