Amy Winehouse, the 27-year-old singer, was found dead at her London flat at 3:54 p.m. today. Police sources have confirmed her passing. Not surprising, a drug overdose is the reported cause. She most recently checked back into rehab in May 2011.Winehouse's 2006 breakthrough album Back to Black brought her worldwide stardom, winning five Grammy Awards. Read BBC News report here.
Oddly, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison were also all 27 when they died.
