Finally... the meteorologists got one right. As predicted, snow is rolling into New York City—after a brutally cold, but irritatingly gray (as opposed to white) winter—with up to a foot of the stuff predicted. In a surprisingly wuss-like move, public schools were closed on Wednesday by mid-afternoon Tuesday, because of fears that the poor little dears wouldn't be able to navigate their way home if it actually does continue to snow throughout the day.
Here's what it looks like outside at 8:30 a.m. in Brooklyn Heights... truly a wintra wondraland. I love every flake.I finally got to wear my macho snow boots, for the first time this winter.
