Last evening Ayhan and I took the PATH train to Jersey—which always seems so much more dramatic than it is—to visit pal Steve Pookman and his man Rich at their brand new gorgeous 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom, nearly 5,000-square-foot three story home (with cellar), built in 1900 on a beautiful street in Jersey City.The tour of every nook and cranny lasted nearly as long as dinner... Oh, how I do occasionally long for outdoor space, a car and space. Sigh. Good times.
