Bette Midler, who has been nominated for two Oscars and won four Grammy Awards, four Golden Globes, three Emmys and a special Tony Award, turns 65 today. I interviewed her for a page 1 Billboard story when she released "Bette Midler Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook," produced by Barry Manilow, in 2003, which peaked at No. 14 on the album chart.
