It was a landslide victory for Norway's Alexander Rybak and his "Fairytail," which the singer/violinist composed. Voting just wrapped minutes ago! Norway was awarded 387 points from 42 participating nations, an all-time record.

Amazingly—and admittedly bittersweet—the runner-up was Yohanna from Iceland with 218 points (followed by Azerbaijan's AySel & Arash with 207 points). Of course, we've been following Eurovision in support of our dear friend
Tinatin, who co-wrote the Icelandic entry, "Is It True." Her achievement is utterly magnificent... and yet I must admit I'm bummed for her to reach such heights and yet fall short of the ultimate victory. All the same, she has one hell of a hit on her hands. Guess she'll be taking me to dinner soon. Bluewater Grill, perhaps? Champagne? Oh, I couldn't possibly...
