At Last: NEW Lady Gaga

It's been a good long spell since Lady Gaga has released anything spanking new. Tomorrow, Friday, the premiere of "Born This Way," the title track from her May 23 third album, will hit the airwaves at 6 a.m. Three hours later, it will be available for digital purchase. Do I hear a No. 1 debut on the singles chart?

A Brit journalist who was offered a preview of the song said it sounds like Madonna rolled into Bronski Beat. Gaga told the press that Elton John informed her it's the "gayest song he's ever heard."

The theme: gay marriage, equality and immigration, with the lyric, "Left you outcast, bullied or teased, rejoice and love yourself today/Cause baby you were born this way, No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life/I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive..."

And that is why Lady Gaga is the greatest artist of the day.
