The hot cast director Steven Soderbergh assembled for Magic Mike, the 2012 stripper flick based on Channing Tatum's pre-celeb lap-dancing years, is titillating enough with a cast that includes Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer and Adam Rodriguez...And now, according to a new interview with hottie Manganiello—who plays "Big Dick Richie"—we're finding out, inch by inch, more about the ensuing production. He tells Celebuzz about what
his character will offer: "You are going to see a surprising amount. A shocking amount. His name is Big Dick Richie for a reason." The True Blood star adds, "It's sex, drugs and rock n'roll. My character is based on a [guy] Channing knew named Big Dick Charlie. I also talked to a group of male strippers from Dallas in the '90s. I talked to 'the fireman' so I am going to be doing a fireman routine in the film. Suspenders, hat, I get the axe going—the whole deal."
Good god, almighty, stop it, Joe! He also shared that he signed on because of Soderbergh's cred, and because he and Matt went to drama school at Carnegie Mellon together. "The cast is the greatest group of dudes ever. It is epic. We have had so much fun." He said "dudes." That's hot!
