Houston-born Chris Brooks, 25, didn't quite muster the metal to make the 2012 London Olympics team; instead, he is an alternate. Damn shame, huh? The University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Oklahoma Sooners gymnastics team from 2005-2009, which were national champions in 2008. He was a multi-year, multi-event All American, and in 2009 was captain of the Sooners Men’s Gymnastics team. Better luck next time, handsome. *
