Lady Gaga Announces Upcoming Album 'ARTPOP'

While Lady Gaga’s Born This Way was issued only about a year ago, our Lady Of Pop is already prepping her next musical venture. As she takes a break from (a bit too much) exposure Stateside, Ga is touring overseas. But last week, she posted a pic on Instagram revealing a new tattoo that says "ARTPOP."

On Twitter, she then confirmed: "Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you capitalize the title; it's all in the details." So there! According to Idolator, ARTPOP is anticipated for a Spring 2013 release, with a first single due before year-end 2012.

By then, I'm thinking we'll all be satiated for the return of the goddess. Let's just hope that the POP in ARTPOP means more great melodies and no dependence on lame hip-hop "featured artists" to ruin the rhythm.

And here's the real gossip drop: There's a rumor on Hollywood Gossip that Lindsay Lohan will star in the video for Gaga's first single.
