First, Lady Gaga single-handedly brought uptempo pop music back to the forefront. Now she's made the music video essential viewing again. Madonna 2.0, indeed. "Alejandro" has always been my second-favorite track from "The Fame Monster," next to "Bad Romance." Giddy as a gay that it's a single at last. Currently = No. 6 on the singles chart and No. 8 on iTunes.
The newly released video is one erotic affair, with lots of beefcake marching about—and 8:44, to boot.
