Happy Birthday George Jones!
The country music living legend turns 79 today! When I was a DJ at WWOD/Lynchburg, Va., in 1979, we played "He Stopped Loving Her Today" so many times that the vinyl 45 simply wore out; the record label had to keep re-servicing fresh copies.
