As a New Yorker... on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, enough already with tributes, speeches, politics, arguments about who in god's name has the right to be within blocks of what is not nor should ever be considered sacred ground. Acknowledge quietly, privately. And for god's sake, can we please put up a fucking building someday? The ongoing pit at ground zero is a national shame.
