What a curious sight this was, as dozens of birds perched along a stop light support at New York's Broadway and 52nd Street Friday afternoon. I wonder if they were waiting for slow-moving Midwestern tourists or a Manhattanite taking up half the sidewalk with an annoying double-wide stroller to deliver a massive message on cue: "Ready, aim, fire!"
