Set your Tivo! The 46th-annual Muscular Dystrophy Assn. Labor Day telethon—which has raised $2.6 billion for the debilitating disease since 1952—may be going on without 85-year-old Jerry Lewis for the first time ever, but the entertainment line-up should keep the franchise going strong.
MDA announced Thursday that Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Richie Sambora and Jordin Sparks are among celebs appearing on the six-hour telecast, airing live 6 p.m. to midnight on the East Coast and on tape delay in other time zones.
The show is hosted by So You Think You Can Dance judge/American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, Entertainment Tonight anchor Nancy O'Dell, journalist/TV producer Jann Carl and The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney.
