Linda Harvey, Who Loathes Gays, Now Decides They Don't Exist

Linda Harvey, whose homophobic rants make Michele Bachmann sound like Mother Goose, can't seem to make up her damn mind.

The founder of Columbus, Ohio-based Mission America, which hides under the umbrella of Christianity to spew hatred about gays, has made it her mission to conjure some of the most venomous, over-the-top lies in the nation among radical conservatives. Among them:

* The National Education Assn. offers "financial incentives" to students to engage in homosexual behaviors. It "not only allows but applauds and defends openly transvestite teachers."
* Gays are high-risk employees, because of "higher rates of domestic violence and unstable relationships."
* Gay pride parades are "the crème de la crème” of sex entitlement: women who’ve amputated healthy breasts and men who’ve added false ones."
* Her most infamous rant: Gay marriage will lead to "a perpetual pansexual pagan party. It include(s) libel, slander, intimidation, corruption of youth, suppression of parental rights, disease, loss of employment and life. Oh, and did I mention public sex, the porn explosion and public nudity? Welcome to entitlement sex."

But now it appears that Harvey has decided that—for all the danger gays pose to society—we actually do not exist. Over the weekend, she dedicated her online broadcast to criticizing the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. According to Harvey, there's no need for the effort because there is no such thing as homosexuality.

"There is no proof that there’s ever anything like a gay, lesbian or bisexual or transgendered child, or teen or human," she insisted. "GLSEN’s gonna roll out (a campaign) this year calling for respect for the homosexual lifestyle. The PR campaign to hold up gay as a good thing: the lifestyle, not the person, because there are no such humans.”

Huh? Has the Republican party heard about this? Because they are wasting a lot of time and direct mail attempting to raise fear-based money to fight "the gay agenda." If we queers don't exist, the G.O.P. better hurry and find a new scapegoat. Time's a'wasting!
