The supreme singer of The Supremes—the one who could really sing—Mary Wilson, turned 67 on Sunday. She is the only member who remained with the group throughout its entire 18-year hit-making history.
I met an utterly delightful Mary during a Rita Coolidge showcase in New York with Strele in the early part of the last decade.
