Two Decades At Billboard: So Long, Sweet Michele

Events manager Michele arrived at Billboard four years before I did in 1995 and outlived my presence by another two years; in total, she worked there for 20 years. She's one of fortunate few who is moving forward on her own accord, now working with her one-time BB boss, Maureen.

I worked with both of these chickies when I manned the Billboard Radio Conference for six or seven years. But that's nuttin': Over her two decades, Michele planned more than 200 conventions, conferences and events.

Tuesday evening, a band of staffers (more former than current, ironically) gathered at good ole hang Central Bar to bid her godspeed.
