Channing Tatum Co-Star Named For Stripper Flick: Meet Alex Pettyfer

We reported earlier this month that hottie actor Channing Tatum, who has no shame over supporting himself at 19 as a g-string stripper at Florida club Male Encounter, had signed on to star in Magic Mike—directed by Oscar-winning Steven Soderbergh—playing the lap-dancing title character, who mentors a youngster on how to hustle on- and offstage.

The actor portraying his protege has just been revealed: former Gap & Burberry model Alex Pettyfer, who is apparently branded as a Hollywood bad boy (uh, despite the fact he's British). From the looks of Tatum's co-star, homoeroticism is about to reach new heights on the big screen.

In the mean time, Tatum is shooting 21 Jump Street and will next be seen in The Vow with Rachel McAdams, and Ten Year.
