Jennifer Hudson's stunning version of "The Star-Spangled Banner"—the real drama at Super Bowl XLIII on Sunday—has gone to iTunes! Proceeds go to the Hudson-King Foundation, to care for families who have lost relatives to a violent crime. I just spontaneously replaced one of my two spotlight single reviews in Billboard this Friday to parade this song... so deserving of all praise.
Hudson next performs at the Grammys this Sunday, Feb. 8. Sadly, Bruce Springsteen is have a colonoscopy at the nursing home that day and will not again be grotesquely gyrating into the camera lens and singing classic rock.
