Gerhard Richter: '1025 Farben'

I found this captivating print in a Metropolitan Home spread, which is displayed in a home office in a couple's house in Portland. As I did some online research, I discovered that the artist is quite renowned: German Gerhard Richter, born in 1932 and now living and working in Cologne. This is his 1974 "1025 Farben" or "1025 Colors," enamel on canvas and a huge 254 cm x 254 cm (100 in x 100 in). This is a prime example of his "pop art" phase. Love it.
