Cher And Lady Gaga Duet: Can You Possibly Get Any Gayer?

It's a GD gay man's fantasy: a duet between Cher and Lady Gaga. Wake up, girls, it's true! A track called “The Greatest Thing,” written by Gaga and producer RedOne, is apparently on Cher's upcoming 26th studio album, which she tweeted will be hitting the airwaves this month, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“The Greatest Thing” is set to be the lead single from the project , which is also supposed to bring forth new work from the almighty Diane Warren, who, of course, wrote numerous hits for Celine Dion and 9834891745 other hit artists. Warren also wrote Cher's Golden Globe-nominated “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me" from Burlesque, the best song either have released in years.

Cher told EW several months ago, “It really won’t be ‘Believe’-ish. I can’t put a genre to it. It’s a little bit more real instruments, like guitars and stuff like that.” As recently as June, Cher tweeted that her new, still untitled album will be “way dance.” No official release date has been announced for either the single or album.

Gaga and Cher met at the 2010 MTV VMA show, where Cher handed Gaga the Video of the Year Moonman for "Bad Romance."
