Celine Dion In NYC: A Bounty Of Upcoming TV Appearances

With her appearance in New York Thursday at Central Park's Andrea Bocelli concert, Celine Dion is making the rounds on TV talk shows taped in the Big Apple—most likely to promote the documentary 3 Boys And A New Show that premiers on Oprah's OWN network Oct. 1.

Coming up that we know of: Regis and Kelly (Thursday, Sept. 22), Good Morning America (Tuesday, Sept. 20), Rachael Ray (Thursday, Sept. 29) and CBS' The Early Show.

Meanwhile, after wrapping the first leg of her Las Vegas show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace that launched March 31—with 54 consecutive sold-out performances playing to 230,000 fans—Celine has ranked as 2011's No. 1 North American show, according to Billboard Boxscore! She returns to the stage Dec. 28 and has added 52 new performances from February through August 2012. Newsweek rightly deems Celine the "biggest act since Elvis."

  1. Last night I was listening to "Think Twice," my favourite Celine Dion song. A massive hit in the UK, it spent 7 weeks at #1 in 1995.
I can't get over how poorly appreciated it was in the US, peaking at #95 on the Hot 100 Singles.
It's nice to see Celine back on TV.
