I am having a happy MLK Day, off from work, as it gently snows outside. I think we've already seen more of the white stuff this winter than in five previous seasons. As a New Yorker, of course, it doesn't slow things down so much, so I welcome it any time. Not straying too far from the sofa... watching a bit of the inaugural festivities, writing a Duncan Sheik piece and a review of the beautiful new Annie Lennox single, "Shine," for Billboard, and listening as Ayhan begins a new full-length album project with Mitch Zorba, who is here from his native Puerto Rico just to lay down vocals through the week. Not only can this guy sing, but he's certainly got superstar beauty. And this time, it's not only pretty teeth.
