Christmas Day Festivities

Ah, cool cats, it was truly a sweet Christmas day, indeed. I don't have any kids... (Tee hee, that means I win, cause we slept in until 10... or was it 11? Bless your hearts, parents.) A smite of breakfast, then gifts... Ayhan got lots of cool clothes, chocolate, sexy underwear, a Spanish CD pronunciation guide and socks! Oh, and a personalized Young Pals Music t-shirt and coffee mug for his alliance with writing partner Dennis, DNA, "Music Production For Life."I received a fabulous purple Mac protector cover, a purple 2010 datebook, a printer for my desk here, a new toaster oven (as opposed to the one that I retrieved from the street after our gorgeous high-end digital model shorted out; don't ask. The unemployed do what the fuck they need to for toast) and a generous gift certificate to pick out my own new wardrobe. Happiness pervades! At 3 p.m., we headed over one neighborhood from Brooklyn to DUMBO for Dennis and Ashley's holiday celebration, complete with moms, sisters, cousins and friends. The view from their apartment... not only spellbinding, but I loved how many people were crossing the Brooklyn Bridge as part of their Christmas festivities. Our hosts, Dennis and Ashley. They're real pretty, aren't they?Joke's on you! Chuck actually likes kids—as long as they're not overtly precocious. George (who should be earning his equally beautiful parents Craig and Carla a great deal of money as a child model) was my buddy! The requisite group photo. Good folks. And as I made more than a half-dozen "Merry Christmas" calls, Ayhan found a greater purpose. Amen and good night.
