Lord have mercy, it's taking me longer to post all the goings on in Colorado than I was actually there—but the natural beauty was so overwhelming that I just gotta share... Let's push forward, shall we? Saturday afternoon we hit the road from brunch at Moxie and Derek's pad in Boulder and headed for Winter Park, a resort in the Rocky Mountains. Along the way, the view was spellbinding. See for yourself, cool cats.
Less than two hours later, we arrived at our destination, the Winter Park Resort...
Mox, Corrine and Ro went shoe-shoeing at the resort/slopes across the highway...
Bill, meanwhile, hung out at our our resort, Derek and Lucas went snowboarding... and I decided to follow M, C & R across the highway to check out shops, restaurants, take pics and finally settle in front of the fire to watch the cute ski-boys and bunnies walking in and out.
I also happened upon Santa Claus, who happened to be visiting the slopes.
Once we were all settled back at the Winter Park Resort, we gathered by the fireplace to warm up and chatola.
Beautiful. Loved that... and the huge live Christmas tree.
Only an idiot would step outside to smoke when it's 29 degrees, right? Hi.
