You'd think that New York City would be a constant wintra wonderland, but because of its proximity to the coast (read: the Hudson and East Rivers), surprisingly, it doesn't snow here nearly often enough for my liking. While most of the country is sent into a milk-bread-and-eggs panic every time a snowflake touches down, thankfully, because of underground public transportation, and the fact that most of us don't drive, a winter snowfall brings out the child in all. We can appreciate its beauty... and the fact that it's just good clean fun to see everything all covered in white.
Today's forecast is calling for 1 to 2 inches of snow, with a total of 6 to 10 inches tonight. With a high of 29 degrees, all conditions are right on. Yeah, cool cats! Let it snow!
